Snickerdoodles

Snickerdoodle Cookie

These cookies are so delicious, and they have the best texture. 

1 c butter, room temp

1 1/2 c sugar

2 large eggs

1 t vanilla

2 3/4 c flour

2 t cream of tartar

1 t baking soda

1/2 t salt

 

3 T sugar

3 T cinnamon

Preheat oven 350.

Mix butter, 1 1/2 c sugar, eggs and vanilla thoroughly in stand mixer.

 Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.

Add dry ingredients into butter mixture, mix well.

Chill dough, for 30 minutes. 

Meanwhile, mix 3 T sugar and 3 T cinnamon in a small bowl.

Scoop 1 inch globs of dough into the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Coat by gently rolling balls of dough in the sugar mixture. Place on cookie sheet, lined with parchment and bake for 10 minutes. 

Remove cookies from pan immediately and cool on wire rack till completely cooled.
